Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Lab Assistant Intern, you will be the backbone of our shared laboratory facility. Your role involves a mix of technical support, operational management, and safety oversight.
1. Lab Operations & Management

Maintain and manage shared laboratory spaces, high-end equipment, and consumables.

Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and professional service schedules.

Manage inventory logs, usage registers, and procurement of lab supplies.
2. Technical & Experimental Support

Support routine wet-lab experiments across molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture, and biochemistry.

Prepare essential buffers, media, reagents, and stock solutions.

Assist resident startups with basic experimental protocols and technical troubleshooting.
3. Compliance & Onboarding

Ensure strict adherence to biosafety protocols, waste disposal standards, and general lab safety.

Maintain meticulous lab records, SOPs, and facility documentation for audits and inspections.

Onboard new users and provide hands-on training on lab equipment.
